Zimmerman Marine Announces New Service Yard in Solomons MD

Now seven service yards from Chesapeake Bay to Charleston, SC

Zimmerman Marine, an employee-owned company with headquarters in Mathews, VA will open a new location in Solomons MD. ZMI and Spring Cove Marina have reached an agreement which enables ZMI to assume operations of the service and repair yard at the marina.

“Spring Cove Marina is a real gem – friendly, quaint, and customer friendly. Solomons provides another convenient stop for our cruising customers, as well as a strong base of locally owned boats. We are thrilled to partner with Spring Cove Marina and expand our service family,” commented ZMI president Steve Zimmerman.

After the transition, Zimmerman Marine, an employee owned company now in its 42nd year, will have seven service yards in the mid-Atlantic region. In addition to Solomons, ZMI has service yards at Herrington Harbor in Deale MD, Deltaville, VA, Mathews VA, Oriental NC, Holden Beach NC, and Charleston SC. Additionally, all seven yards are interconnected giving our customers unparalleled convenience and service.
