How To Maintain A Cruising Powerboat

Whether you want to take care of your own maintenance or plan to have a yard take care of it, this two day intensive at Trawlerfest Stuart on How To Maintain A Cruising Powerboat will prepare you well. Here is a sample of the questions to be addressed:

  • What causes blisters and what should I do if my boat has them?

  • Should I use zinc or aluminum anodes?

Steve Zimmerman Biography

Steve has been building and repairing cruising boats for more than 40 years and oversees the Zimmerman Marine network of seven boatyards in the mid-Atlantic. As a boat builder, repairer, and cruiser, Steve has a unique perspective on the boat buying process. Steve has logged several thousand miles on the water, including the entire East Coast from Canada to the Caribbean, over forty trips between the Chesapeake and Long Island Sound, the inside passage to Alaska, and the Downeast Circle. Steve holds a 100 ton Master license with a sailing endorsement.
